About Lynn W. Martin

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lynn Martin gained extensive experience working with state and federal law enforcement agencies as a Fraud Investigator with AT&T Universal Credit Card. For seven years Martin worked credit card fraud and counterfeit cases and prepared them for prosecution by the FBI, US Secret Service, and the US Postal Service. Providing information and data to help identify fraud rings and cells nationwide, Martin worked with AT&T corporate attorneys preparing cases. Lynn Martin later obtained her paralegal degree from Florida Community College and worked as a paralegal for a criminal attorney, civil litigation, and workers compensation defense firm. Martin then entered law school, graduating in the top fifteen percent of her class from Florida Coastal School of Law. During a nine-month internship with the Public Defender's Office in the Fourth Judicial Circuit, Martin handled her own felony case load as well as assisted on several felony cases. Lynn Martin used her expertise in financial crimes to assist other attorneys in the public defender's office. After gaining experience with criminal, and family law litigation firms, Ms. Martin opened a private law practice specializing in criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. As a member of the Florida and Georgia State Bars, Martin's experience in complex felonies and misdemeanors encompass a large coastal region from Savannah to Daytona, with over thirty bench trials, juvenile trials and felony jury trials. Additionally to her Bar credentials, Martin is a member of  the NACDL, (the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers), FACDL, (the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers) and the ATLA, (Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Prior to a career in law, Ms. Martin obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Belmont University and was a television and radio news reporter for several years in Georgia.
